***Unfortunately this event has had to be postponed, date to be advised***
The planet is getting hotter year by year, weather patterns are changing with more bushfires and flooding and sea levels are rising threatening low lying islands. Our government states that it is committed to addressing climate change by setting targets domestically to reduce carbon emissions whilst at the same time continuing to approve massive gas and coal projects that will contribute to global warming.
How can we respond to these challenges and feel like we are making a difference?
Come to a meeting/discussion on Saturday 23 August from 2-4pm and share your thoughts and suggestions.
Please send an email to [email protected] if you are interested in coming and the suburb where you live and I’ll work out a venue that is reasonably central and suitable. Any venue suggestions are welcome too.
If you can’t come but are interested in being part of a North Brisbane climate campaigning group please get in touch!
