- Donations to Ellie Smith are NOT (yet) tax deductible
- There are no caps on political donations under Commonwealth electoral laws. However, if your donation is $16,900 or more (or exceeds $16,900 once other donations you may have made in the 2024/25 financial year are taken into account) then your name and amount of donation will need to be disclosed to the Australian Electoral Commission. You will also need to lodge a donor disclosure, which we will notify you about at the time.
- Ellie Smith can only accept donations from Australian citizens, permanent residents and Australian companies. When you donate you affirm that you are not a foreign donor.
