Hi, I’m Ellie Smith

I’m your community backed independent councillor for Division 11 in the City of Moreton Bay.

For almost a decade, Division 11 has been home for me and my family. There is nowhere I would rather live, and it is a privilege to now serve our community as your local councillor.

I was elected with the support of hundreds of volunteers and thousands of residents who want thoughtful, accountable local leadership. 

For over 20 years, I have worked across Queensland in community engagement, environmental protection, and governance. I bring that experience to Council with a clear focus on listening, working constructively, and delivering practical outcomes for Division 11 and for the wider Moreton Bay region.
